BACK AFTER MY DELIVERY OF TWO PRINCESS

Hooooo finaly back to my blog after so many many months after the arrival of my two little princesses :)
My princesses had arrive on 8th Feb 2011 at 39 weeks and i went through 10 hours of labour pain before i had a c-section to deliver them. Im so glad that everything went so smoothly during the whole delivery except i had virus infection n my temperature had been 40 degree during nite time n im not allowed to go home after a six days stay in KK with my gals.
They were born with a huge n good weight of 2.92kg and 2.8kg despite im carrying twins. Thanks to AMWAY supplements that i took during my pregnancy that helps me to carry this pregnancy througout the nine mths.
We named them as Cheng Jia Hui Ashlynn (jiejie) & Cheng Jia Min Ariel (meimei) which i like the alphabet A :) As for their chinese names, it was given by my father-in-law.
Jia 佳 means excellent
Hui 慧 means intelligent
Min 敏 means keen

so we hope they can be excellent, intelligent person n keen to learn every good things as they grows up.

OMG!! There will be so many of my favourite singers holding their concerts from this month onwards but so sad i wont be able to watch any of it sob sob :{{{{{
Dear dun allow me to watch as he says the place will be crowded n packed n noisy and not suitable for my present condition.

10 WEEKS

31st July 2010

Had not update my post for three weeks. Lazy and tired haha.. By the way Happy beleated birthday to myself!! Just pass my last 20's birthdy on the 28th July. Nothing very special except im more excited about my review at KK to see how my two little ones are doing.
Went bk to KK for scanning and babies had grown slighter bigger. Its about 10 weeks and 5 days. Baby A is 4.06cm and Baby B is 3.66cm. Both heartbeats were normal and managed to see Baby A kicking n moving and Baby B was sleeping so soundly. So cute !!! My next review will be in 1st September for the usual checkup and a full detailed scan on the 29th September. It is to check the growth, structure and forming of the babies wheather they are growing well anot. It will take about half an hour to 45 mins for each baby.
We thought of going to have buffet but im afraid i couldnt eat much so end up Dear brought me to Bakerzin for a cosy n nice lunch before heading to my mama's place with a birthday cake to celebrate.

7 WEEKS AND REAL SURPRISED

9th July 2010

Its July again and i will be spending my last 20's birthday in another 19 days. Dun know Dear going to give me what surprise and birthday gift hehe.. But anyway, i had received the best and greatest gifts of my life - MY TWIN BABIES!!!!
Went for my second scan and review with Dr Loh on the 7th July. My appt time was 930am and we waited about 3 and a half hours before it was my turn to see the doctor. Its all the stupid counter nurse fault. We kept asing her why it ws not my turn when some other patients came after us had seen the dr and we were still left waiting, she kept telling us " U guys still wait for a while and soon will be ur turn." Feeling very tired, nausea and pissed off with the waiting time, dear went to approach the staff nurse and to our horror she told us " Hw cm u still haven register ur name? Urs is a new case so must do some routine test and filled up some forms before u can see the Dr." WTF!!! Its really getting out of my nerves when i heard that and i went straight to that stupid nurse and shouted and screamed at her for her uselessness in the job!!!! She still remain silent and didnt even bothered to apologize!!! I swear i would complain her to the nurse manager. Dear kept asking me to cool down while filling the forms and i was told to go and measure my weight , height and urine test. Maybe god's at my side, the nurse who measured my blood pressure was a nurse manager so i took this opportunity to complain about the nurse. After the routine tests were done, i waited 5mins before it was FINALLY my turn to see Dr Loh.
He always had a sunshine and joval smile whenever we see him.
" So how are you? Any morning sickness, pain or bleeding?" he asked.
I told him i had ultimate bad vomitting throughout the whole day and i will throw out most of the food whenever i eat. And there was abit spotting on one of the wkday and last Sun. He told us maybe it was the implantation of the foetus that cause the slight spotting.
"OK nvm we shall have a scan and see how ur little one growing."
DR LOH Calling to Dear " LAOGONG COME AND SEE!! WOW!! Now i know why your wife is having so bad vomitting and so xin ku!! Its TWINS!!! See, two babies heartbeat one at the top the other at the bottom, no wonder u got terrible days. CONGRATES!!!!!"
We were both stunned, surprised and shocked. Couldnt belif my eyes that i will be having twins after seeing the heartbeat through the scan. Cos previously he mentioned that there was only one baby. And now came the other. He said during 5 weeks maybe the baby was really small and hidding somewhere that couldnt be seen and now the baby manage to pop out in 7 weeks and gave everyone a surprise. We were very happy that my tears nearly flow down. He calculated the EDD will be 19th Feb 2011 but definately it will be much earlier especially for twins. As the babies still belong to unstable stage, he advised me to rest more and avoid carrying heavy stuffs and stay happy n stress-free always in order to have healthy babies. I was prescibed some anti-nausea medicine and vitamins. Our parents were so delighted upon hearing they will be the grandparents of twins as both our families do not have any genes for twins. So now im praying my two little ones will grow healthy and everyone will be waiting patiently to see you two in another few months time.

6 weeks

28th June 2010

Last week went to consult Dr Loh at KK and did a scan and was delighted by the results. Dr Loh congrates us that he managed to see the water bag and we will be the parents of one baby. Than we were told that the other embroye just self destroyed and left with one to survive. But i must still be very careful cos its the first trimester as the baby is still not stable enough.
Today is the sixth week of my pregnancy and i have been "tortured" by the horrible morning sickness. I thought my vomitting has stopped but who knows it is back again. Every morning before i bath, i will vomit until i feel so lethagic and gastric pain. And not only the morning, anytime of the day as and when after i consume any food, i will have the urge to vomit again. Haiz... and has been losing 3kg since this started. Lose appetite and no craving for any food at all. But for the sake of the baby, i still need to force myself to eat abit. Dr told me it could last for at least 14 weeks before everything stopped. OMG still got 2 more months to go wor........
Started to become "auntie", use alot of medicated oil to stop the vomitting, but it dun seems to work. The only drink is Ribena with lemon can makes me feel slightly better but cant drink it everyday as it contains glucose which can cause diabetics to pregnant women.
Baby ar baby... dun make mummy suffer ok??? GUAI GUAI ok so that my vomitting will goes off soon.......

SLEEPLESS NIGHT AND MORNING SICKNESS

For the past three days, i had sleepless nights as i woke up around 5 plus in the morning. Encountered serval pain in the tummy, i immediately rush to the loo to clear my bowels. Worse thing was that i kept vomitting after that and all was just acidic from the gastric. So XIN KU!!
Yesterday i told dr ong about this and he kept asking me to consume some anti vomit medicine every morning and suggested that i shall go for a pregnancy test to confirm wheather im preganant. So around 5pm, i did a test kit only realised ther is one line. As i was about to throw away the kit, suddenly i saw another line appearing. OMG its positive.... i couldnt belif it..... to double confirm the results, i tried using another test kit and it also showed it was positive. But the line was quite light, so dr ong told me it is due to early pregnancy thats y it wont show a darker line. But no matter what, he was very sure im pregnant. Called dear to inform but he didnt ans so i decided to give him a surprise. When i met him after work, i kept asking him alot of things regarding pregnancy, than he so pangtang, keep telling me wait till im pregnant than mention all these things. Than suddenly i just told him" IM PREGNANT LIAO" he gave me a stunned look and dun believed what i said. Than i showed him the test kit, and he couldnt believed his eyes and screamed so loud in the middle of the road. Called my mum to inform her about the good news and also inform PIL when we reached home. They just smiled and asked me to be very careful in whatever i eat and do. Hopefully the pain will just go off within these few days cos its very unbearable.

PROGESTERON RESULTS

Ever since the first dose of Pregnyl inj on th 29th May, i have been encounter lots of side effects to it. Everyday my tummy feel so bloated, cramps and gassy, slight nausea, burping, and i realised the tummy was so humongous till i cant fit in most of my pants and skits. DAMN SAD!!!!
I checked through the net to find out why will i have such side effects and it explained that it is due to the inj that to increase the progesteron hormones level in order to allow the uterus to expand for the growth of the embroyes. And that is why i will feel so bloated.
4th June, i went down to KK for my Progesterone blood test and got back the results yesterday. The nurse called me just mentioned that the results was good.. hmmm... but never mention to me how high was the hormones level. Well, since she mentioned it was good, i just need to have the last pregnyl inj on Mon and by the 14th June, i will be able to know the pregnancy results. But i think in the middle of the week, i will do a pregnancy check through test kit in my clinic. Hopefully there will be good news for us.

TRANSFER OF EMBROYE

Finally the day had arrived. Yesterday we went bk to kk for my embroye transfer. Reached there about 730am and the nurse explained the whole procedure to us. Dear was allowed to follow into the procedure room. We were brought into the OT room and when Dr Loh came in, he greeted us with a sunshine smile and told us that 12 eggs were taken out and 6 were fertiled into embroyes. 2 were be transfered to my womb and 4 to be freeze for 5 years for future use.
There were 5 gradings for all the embroyes 1 to 5. Which 5 will be the best but very rare in all embroyes. Ours were grade 4 which were consider very good. The nurse pass us a picture of the embroyes but when i reached home i realised i had dropped it somewhere and lost it. So sad!!! But anyway the transfer was sucessful and i will be given four dose of Pregnyl 1000units (0.2ml) for four different days that that was to protect the lining of the wall on my womb. Will be going back for progesteron blood test on the 4th June and BHCG blood test on the 14th June to determine wheather im pregnant. Good luck.......................

PAIN AND BRUISING

This morning woke up and i felt pain, swell and brusing on my left hand. I realised it was caused by the needle for the sedation . Try to rub it with some pain relif cream but i think it will have to take a few days before it subside.

OVUM PICK UP OPERATION

27th May 2010

Went for my ovum pick up operation yesterday. We reached KK hospital about 820am. After registration, the stuff nurse explained all the procedures to us and passed a sterile bottle to dear for his collection of seamens. I was told to change into the operation gown and lead me to the OT waiting area before it was my turn to have the ops. Quite anxious and scared but luckily there were a few ladies doing for the ops so we chatted and comfort each other. One lady told me that this was the third time she has been trying as the previous two all failed. Hmm... well it depends on luck and how the body reacted individualy. Waited about two hours before it was my turn. Before i was ask to the OT, i was given a sedation needle through my veins in order for the anesthetist to inj the sedation drug into me. I was lead to the OT and lied down on the special couch and open my legs so wide. The nurses all talked to me for a while and before i could say anything, the sedation had been inj n soon i was fall into sleep. But i could feel the thin needle being insert through the vaginal and moving sensation but there wasnt any pain. The procedure took about half an hour and i was pushed to the resting ward for the nurses to monitor my glucose and blood pressure level. There was bleeding after the ops and they told me after one or two days it will stop. I started to feel slight pain and bloated on my tummy which was common. After the long hours of waiting and ops, finaly i can discharge at about 130pm. We were super delighted that the nurse told me that 12 eggs were taken out. They will send the eggs and the sperms to the lab for fertilisation before placing the two of the best embroyes back to my womb on this sat. If there is excess of good embroyes, they will just freeze it for our future use if we want kids again. Thank god!!!
We went back to my mum's place to rest as she boiled tonic soups for us. At night the pain n bloating still occured even till now it was still there. Hopefully by sat it will stop as i will be having the final ops to put in the well match embroye. And that will be the most critical period for about 17 days before pregnancy occurs. Pray hard and i will need to have more rest after that.

PREGNYL INJ

25th May 2010


Nurse from KK called me during yesterday afternoon and informed that the timing for the PREGNYL inj will be postphone to 10pm instead of 830pm. So i still continue to work till 9pm than dear came to my clinic to wait for me to knock off.
When reached KK, we went to the 24hour women's clinic to had my jab done. I was told to relax and lay on the couch. OMG i saw the staff nurse holding the big needle but i tried to relax and phsyco myself it will be over soon. I could feel the pain when the needle was poke right into my right thigh and as the solution was transfered to it. Gosh!! I felt some pain n numbness after the jab and there was slight bleeding. As we were on my way home, i felt slightly better think becos there was lots of fats on my thigh ba haha..... Thank god i am fine today and tomolo will be going through the critical period .... will have to restrain from food and drink from today 1030pm onwards till my operation has done. Pray n pray for the sucessfulness!!!

BACK TO WORK

BACK TO WORK AGAIN!! Ya after having a good one week rest, its back to work again. So tired becos these morning we had seen about 50 patients not including the night lo. Well but nevermind i will be having another few more days of leave.
Yesterday went back to KK for my scanning and was told that my ovary was producing good eggs and i will be able to have the operation to pick up the eggs on this coming wed and to implant the well match embroye back to my womb on fri. Super delighted to hear all this as i feel that all my painful injections are worth it. Coming Monday night will have to go back to Kk for my final jab PREGNYL 10000 units and that is to support the eggs well before the opeartions start. Pray hard that everything will go smoothly i will be able to see the results next mth wheather im pregnant or not.

MY OFF DAYS

18th May 2010

WOOOOOOOOO, i've been lazing around since last sat as my boss was having his holidays in ICELAND for one week. SHIOK!! But it seems that Iceland encounters problems again due to the volcano eruption. Hmm i didnt get any calls from him so i assume he will be all right.
Had my Gonal jab since last sat. Injection it by myself as mother in law refuse to help me with it cos she wants me to get use to inj as during weekdays there wont be anyone to help me with it. Well its true la. This round the needle was longer and it was quite painful when i try to inj on my tummy. Physcio myself not to tremble and was glad that i manage to inj. Phew....
This sat going back to KK again to scan wheather im producing GOOD EGGS as they will decide to choose the best two eggs so i can proceed to stage three. If not i think i will have to continue with the inj.

REVIEW AT KK

11th May 2010

This morning went back to KK to have my blood test and scanning again. As menses have occured and today was the fifth day of the cycle, the nurse told me it was a good sign as the scan will be able to detect wheather i can proceed to stage two anot. After the scan, the nurse told me that there were two small cycts on my right side of the ovary but it was not cancerous. Maybe it was due to the previous operations that caused it to develop. After the doctor had review the scanning results, i was told to collect the stage two inj GONAL FOLLITROPIN ALFA INJ back home, some folic acid and Doxycycline antibotics for dear ( to get rid of the infections of the sperm) wahaha... and is a complusory for all husbands to eat and wait for the blood test results. If the result is normal, i can have that jab on the 15th may and it last only 7 days cos on 8 days i have to go back for scanning to see wheather i will be producing healthy eggs before proceed to stage three. But i will still need to continue with the lucrin inj until i was told to stop it.
STIMULATION CYCLE:-
SUBCUT. LUCRIN 0.5MG - I.E 10 UNITS EVERY MORNING
SUBCUT.GONAL F - I.E 187.5 UNITS EVERY MORNING
Received the call from KK in the afternoon and was told that my blood test is normal and i shall proceed to the jab on sat. So glad that i can proceed to stage two. So now i have to two jabs to inj at the same time. JIA YOU hope can see good results next week.... :}

AARON KWOK DE SHOW REEL WORLD TOUR ENCORE CONCERT

Waited one yr for Aaron Kwok and nw he is back again.

Yesterday mum me and dear went to his encore concert in National Indoor stadium. There was abit of anger before the show started. When we approached to our seats, we saw a couple sittting on our seats. So dear went up to them and confirmed the seats number and realised we all got the same seats number. Than they refused to leave because it was actualy a good seat as it was the first row. The manager was called in and realised it was the sistic fault having the printing errors and the couple should be sitting at the other side. They shouted and argued with the manager and refused to leave. Damn sucks lo. Three of us were just standing right in front of them and yet they still gave us a sickening and snobbish look. I was very pissed off and i started to make my nasty comments. Cant they use their pig's brain to think?? We had three pax and they had only two dun expect two of us to shift to another place and left one here right?? AND THIS WERE OUR SEATS!!! Dear and mum keep asking me to cool down and let the staffs handled the matter. As the concert was about to start, the staffs were panicking as there wasnt any extra seats for us as all the seats were taken up. Than came another manager and try to persuade them to leave. After a 20 mins arguement, than they had no choice but to gv up the seats. WHAT A WASTE OF PEOPLE'S TIME!!! AND SUCH BRAINLESS AND SELFISH PEOPLE!

So glad our moods were not spoilt by them becos we had a wonderful time watching the fabulous and excellent concert!! AARON ROCKS!!!!

FIRST SCANNING AND BLOOD TEST

4th May 2010

This morning went to KK to have my blood test and scanning done after 15 days of lucrin injection. I was told that in btw of these days, i will encounter another cycle of my menses but it was delay again. After the scan, i was told immediately by the nurse that im not responding well to the inj and i couldnt proceed to stage two of the IVF. But further details will have to wait for the blood test results and will inform me in the afternoon.
Abt 2 plus in the afternoon, the nurse called and informed that confirmed that although hormones level was high but i will hav to continue to jab for the lucrin inj and meanwhile wait patiently for the menses to occur within these few days. And scedule next Tues to go back again for scanning and blood test again.

NINTH DAY

26th April 2010

Today is the 9th day for my jab. Next Tues going for some blood test and scanning to see how is the progress after these two weeks injection. After that still have to continue with those jabs again...hope to get good news.

THIRD DAY

20th April 2010

Had the jab today n luckily there wasnt any rash le. But was down with flu, cough and sore throat. Virus all over the place. Even my dr also got it. Haiz.... Hope by tomorrow or the day after will be better after the medicines.

SECOND DAY

19th April 2010

2nd jab was given this morning. It was jabbed at the right side of the tummy. It was a bit itchy after the jab and slight rash started to appear. It only subside after i apply some antiotic cream. Looks like right side of the tummy is sensetive to the inj or needle. I shall try again tomorrow somewhere at the right side to see wheather it will have any allergy again.

DAY 1 OF LUCRIN INJ

18th April 2010

Collected the Lucrin inj from KK last friday and today is my first dose of inj. $105 for the bottle of inj. Just 10ml per day in the morning before 12pm. Dr Ong helped me to inj this morning. Well thought it will be very painful but luckily he got the skill to inject so i dont feel any pain.
Still got a long way to go sia............ NO PAIN NO GAIN!! JIA YOU!!
